I recorded the information I gave to students on Friday. This video demonstrates using the ABC-CLIO databases  and Microsoft Word for creating the images appendix for the research paper. OpenOffice and the varying versions of Word should all have the features demonstrated in this video.

If you have any questions, you know how to reach me.

silly-shakespeareI will be gone for a seminar to help coordinate our state English/Language Arts Standards with the new federal standards on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 30th and 31st.

On those two days, students will be expected to complete bell work and listen to the lecture below. The substitute will have this lecture on CD, and students must answer questions that match the lecture. I’m posting these materials here for any students who are absent on those days.

Lecture Part #2

Jeopardy_220x220For March, students can earn 10 points of extra credit for attending the Students vs. Teachers Jeopardy Tournament on Friday, March 12th.

Please check in with Mr. Mullin or Mr Williams during the event. Write your name on a piece of paper and give it to either teacher.

-Mr. W.

This extra credit is only good on 3/12/10 and will count on 3rd quarter.

Reminder about extra credit: Mr. Williams records all of your extra credit, but none of it becomes part of your grade until the last day of the quarter. For your extra credit to improve your grade, you must first have a passing grade (60%) on the regular work. (Honors students must have at least 70%.)
